Viva Panera Bread!
I told myself when I started this blog to keep it focused on business and copywriting...but this is a story I've got to share.
I love Panera Bread - and apparently they love me!!
My wife and I frequent our local Panera Bread often enough <daily> that everyone knows our name and we know theirs. When we go in, it's like seeing friends rather than customers/servers. Today, I'm feeling under the weather - the kind of bug that when it comes time to eat...nothing sounds good. Cindy asked if something from Panera might help (of course, the answer was yes).
She goes to get me a cup of coffee and a pastry. They asked about me (how nice). Cindy said I was feeling poorly. One of the managers caught her on the way out the door .... with a bowl of chicken soup and hopes I would feel better. WOW!
At this point, if Panera stops selling bread and coffee...I'd go just to see my friends! (P.S. - If you want to read good copywriting - check out the BREADWISE newsletter - they really tell a story)
